Pricing questions
How does the free 60 minutes per week work?
Every account gets 60 tunnel-minutes for free at the start of each week. No credit card required. The quota covers both basic tunnels and the MCP toolkit. When the quota is exhausted, tunnels keep working at the per-minute rate if billing is set up; otherwise they pause until the next week.
When does the meter run?
Only while a tunnel is open. The edge counts active tunnel-minutes once per minute and forwards them to Stripe Meters. Stop the tunnel and the meter stops — there is no idle billing and no per-request fee. On the Free plan there is no monthly charge at all; on Developer the $1/month subscription is the only fixed cost.
What currency and payment methods are supported?
Billing is in USD via Stripe. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. Invoices are itemized per Stripe Meter (basic_tunnel_minute, mcp_toolkit_minute).
Are there team or enterprise plans?
Not yet. Today there are two plans: Free (60 min/week, no card) and Developer ($1/month for 500 HTTP + 250 MCP minutes, then per-minute overage). Per-seat features and contracted volume pricing are on the roadmap.
Where is data hosted?
Everything we store is stored in Azure West Europe — tunnel metadata, usage records, API keys. Traffic in transit is terminated by Cloudflare at the point of presence nearest the caller, which may be outside the EU; see the privacy policy. Billing is in USD via Stripe.
Can I bring my own domain?
Not yet. Today every tunnel gets a stable subdomain on tapinto.it (e.g. amber-fern-3a8.tapinto.it). Custom domains are planned for a later phase.
